Sunday Announcements – September 25, 2022

The Fall season is a great time to streamline your stewardship. You may be aware that there is a great way of supporting our parish through “e-Giving” called Faith Direct Service. It is a convenient, cost-effective, efficient and secure way to make your weekly donations. To the 75 registered families of our parish who are already using Faith Direct, THANK YOU! We would like to encourage everyone else to consider using this wonderful service. You will be amazed by how easy and convenient it is. Signing up will only take a minute, but it will save you a lot of valuable time every week. By using Faith Direct, you will also help our parish to go “green” by eliminating the many wasteful envelopes that go unused. Your recurring gifts will ensure that the ministries you care about are supported throughout the year, even when you need to be absent from a Sunday Mass. Faith Direct is a “win-win” FREE service for all of us. Please refer to the bulletins for details on how to sign up TODAY.

The English Adult Choir will begin rehearsals this Monday, September 26th, at 7:30 p.m. in the lower church. If you are over 16 years old, enjoy singing and can carry a tune, we invite you to consider joining our choir. The ability to read music is much appreciated, but it is not a requirement. You will be trained to sing in harmony, and will be introduced to sacred music of many different styles and composers. Soprano, alto, tenor, and bass voices are all welcomed. Please leave your name and phone number at the parish office, or just come down to the Rehearsal this Monday evening and try it out. Singing in the choir is a great way to pray and share your talents in the Church.

The Rosary Society will resume their monthly meetings starting Sunday, October 2nd, with refreshments in the Institute right after the 9:30AM Bilingual Mass. All ladies over 15 years old are invited to join and are encouraged to bring a friend.

We are happy to report that, to date, 187 parishioners have pledged a total of $65,357 to the Annual Catholic Appeal, of which $58,643 have already been collected. We thank those who have donated and invite all to consider joining us to support our local Church. Donation envelopes are available at the church entrances for your convenience.
