On Saturday, October 22nd, the Diocese of Brooklyn will have the biannual Pilgrimage to the National Shrine and Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, Washington, DC. You are cordially invited to join the priests and lay faithful of our parish in this one-day Pilgrimage to the nation’s Capital to honor the Mother of God, and pray for our nation, our community and families. The English Adult Choir will begin rehearsals on Monday, September 26th, at 7:30 p.m. in the lower church. If you are over 16 years old, enjoy singing and can carry a tune, we invite you to consider joining our choir. The ability to read music is much appreciated, but it is not a requirement. You will be trained to sing in harmony, and will be introduced to sacred music of many different styles and composers. Soprano, alto, tenor, and bass voices are all welcomed. Please leave your name and phone number at the parish office, or just come down to the Rehearsal on the 26th and try it out. Singing the choir may be a service that enhances your faith and sense of belonging in the Church.
