We are grateful for your generous contributions to the collections today, and we thank those who have made a special donation towards the new Shrines to Our Lady in our church vestibule. Your gift of love will promote a greater devotion to the Blessed Mother at our parish. When making a donation to this specific cause, you can simply write on any envelope that it is for the Shrines. We hope to create new votive candles soon for your devotional use.
The opening of the 2023 Mass Book has been moved to Tuesday, December 6 and Mass Intention Forms will be available for you starting the weekend of December 3rd and 4th. By then, you may reserve your Mass Intentions for next year and bring those forms into the parish office with your payment. Please remember that the Intentions for the Masses are available on a first come, first serve basis.
This coming Tuesday, November 8, there will be a Parish Pastoral Council Meeting at 7:30pm in the Institute. All members of the Parish Council and our Parish Trustees are invited to attend this meeting, which advises the Pastor on issues that are important to the life of the parish.
This coming Friday, November 11 is Veterans Day, a federal holiday. There will be only ONE Mass offered at 9AM in the Upper Church. After the recitation of the Rosary, the church will be closed, as is the parish office, and both will reopen on Saturday morning.
Next weekend, November 12 and 13, the Knights of Columbus will conduct a Winter Sweaters Drive at our parish. As the weather gets colder, please think of our less fortunate brothers and sisters who need warm clothing. We would be glad to accept any sweater in new or excellent condition. You may leave the donated sweaters at the vestibule of the upper church or in the greenhouse.
