Good morning/evening:
- ïWe would like to say a big THANK YOU to all of you who have made a pledge or have started to send in donations to the Annual Catholic Appeal. Your goodness will make a big impact on the life and mission of the Church in our Diocese. We are happy to report that, to date, 102 of our parishioners have pledged a total of $34,206, of which $24,241 have already been sent in. By this concrete gesture of charity, you are living out the Lord’s commandment of love another in a visible way.
- ïWe encourage everyone to consider making a commitment to this worthy cause, by using the envelopes found at the Church’s entrances. For a parish of several thousand members, the current number of donors seems rather modest. If every family participates, we will exceed our goal and will be able to realize important projects in our own parish that will benefit all of us and our future generations.
- ïTogether, let us show that even in difficult times, we can still carry the mission of proclaiming Christ forward. May you experience the joy of giving, knowing that our lives are richer when we share our resources out of genuine love and concern for others.
