Sunday Announcements–July 3, 2022

We are happy to report that, to date, 163 parishioners have pledged a total of $57,312 to the Annual Catholic Appeal, of which $46,599 have already been collected. We thank those who have donated and invite all to consider joining us in this worthy cause. Donation envelopes are available at the church entrances for your convenience.

Saturday, July 16, will be the feast of our Lady of Mount Carmel, our parish patronal feast.  There will be a Solemn Mass at 8AM in the Upper Church, with Consecration to Our Lady and distribution of the Holy Scapulars. Everyone is also invited to the main celebration of the patronal feast at 5PM, with Outdoor Procession before Mass and festivities in the Institute after Mass, featuring international music, dances and food.  Please mark your calendar for these events.

Registration is open for our Religious Education Program, with classes starting in September. All children are required to participate in the program in order to receive the Sacraments.  Please contact our parish office to register your child as soon as possible.  Ensuring that your child grow spiritually in the faith is the best gift that you can give to them.

Please be advised that the 5PM Sunday Mass will NO LONGER change to 7PM during the summer, as in previous years. Keeping the last Sunday Mass at 5PM will better serve the needs of our parish and allow our priests, ministers and parish workers a chance to rest and be with their family.

This Monday, July 4th, in observance of Independence Day, there will be only ONE Mass offered at 9AM in the Upper Church.  The Parish Office will be closed for the holiday weekend and will reopen on Tuesday morning.
