We are pleased to share that one hundred thirty-nine parishioners have pledged nearly sixty-one thousand dollars to this year’s Appeal—with more than fifty-four thousand already received. We are deeply grateful for such generosity. If you have not yet made a pledge, we kindly encourage you to consider doing so in the coming days. Appeal envelopes are available at the entrances of the church. Remember: when we join our forces for Christ’s mission, our parish becomes stronger.
Adults eighteen and older who have not yet received Baptism, First Holy Communion, or Confirmation are warmly invited to take part in our special catechesis program. This program deepens your understanding of the faith and prepares you to receive the Sacraments. For more information, please contact Deacon Jacob Rodriguez by the end of September.
The Lector’s Workbook for the new Liturgical Year, which begins with Advent, is now available in the parish office. Lectors are asked to sign in when picking up a copy—please remember, one workbook per family. These books are specifically for those who proclaim the readings at Sunday Mass.
On Saturday, October 25, you are invited to join Bishop Brennan and our parish priests for the Diocesan Marian Pilgrimage to the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. The cost is $60 per person and includes a light breakfast. Full details and the registration form can be found in this week’s bulletin. Seating is limited, with only thirty-two spots remaining, so reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please note that all weekday Masses will continue to be celebrated in the main church while painting work is underway in the chapel. We are confident you will be very pleased with the renewed beauty of the space once it is completed.
