A reminder to all parish leaders and volunteers: this Wednesday, September 30, is the deadline for completing your annual VIRTUS requirements. Please check your account and complete anything still outstanding. Those who remain non-compliant will not be permitted to serve in public ministry.
Do you love to sing? Come and join our English Parish Choir! Rehearsals begin this Monday at 7:30 PM in the main church. No professional training is needed—just a love of music and a desire to praise God. Come and share your voice with us!
This Friday is First Friday. Adoration follows the 8:00 AM Mass until noon, concluding with Benediction. In the evening, there will be a sung Holy Hour at 6:30, followed by Mass at 7:30, both in Spanish.
Our Jornada Group invites teens and their parents to an Open House next Sunday, October 4. Stop by anytime after the 9:30 AM Mass through the end of the 12:30 PM Mass to meet the group and learn about its activities.
Also next Sunday, we celebrate the Jubilee Feast of Saint Francis of Assisi. At 5:00 PM in Mary’s Garden, we will have our annual Blessing of the Animals. We know how much our pets become part of our families and how much joy and companionship they bring into our lives. So bring your beloved pets and join us as we thank God for the gift of his creation and ask his blessing upon them. All creatures great and small are welcome!
Finally, thank you to the 132 parishioners who have already pledged more than $54,150 to this year’s Annual Catholic Appeal. If you have not yet participated, we invite you to join them. Every gift, large or small, makes a difference. Appeal envelopes are available at the church doors.
For more information about these and other parish events, please take a bulletin or you may read it right here our parish website.
May God bless you with a wonderful week ahead!
