SEPTEMBER 10, 2023

On this day, as our nation recognizes and celebrates Grandparents Day, we honor all grandparents who have shaped us with their wisdom and nurtured us with their love. We take this moment to extend our warmest wishes to the grandfathers and grandmothers of our parish, both near and far. May your day be filled with love, joy, and the laughter of your loved ones. Happy Grandparents Day!

We wish to thank all who have donated to today’s second collection. Your kindness, combined with gifts from other parishes in our Diocese, will support our suffering brethren in Maui who are recovering from the recent devastating wildfires.

Attention, teenagers! Our parish Youth Group warmly invites you to our weekly Youth Nights. Held every Friday from 7:00PM to 8:30PM in the Institute, these gatherings will kick off this coming Friday, September 15, with an evening of music, food, and fun fellowship. Parents, you’re welcome to join us for this inaugural Youth Night to get a sense of the enriching activities we offer for your teens’ spiritual and social development.

For adults aged 18 and over who’ve yet to receive the Sacraments of Baptism, Holy Communion, or Confirmation, we’re offering a specialized catechesis program. Through weekly sessions, we aim to deepen your faith and guide you towards these pivotal spiritual rites. To join, please reach out to Deacon Jacob Rodriguez at the parish office.

An important note for liturgical ministers and all parish volunteers: Mandatory VIRTUS training for the protection of children is mandatory in the Diocese of Brooklyn. If your last training was over seven years ago or if you’ve never attended, you must complete this to continue in your ministry roles. Contact the

parish office to register.
