This weekend, 50 members of our parish Charismatic group participated in the Annual Prayer Day at the Marian Shrine in West Haverstraw, New York. We pray that the spiritual fruits of this gathering will enrich the faith of our entire parish community.
This Monday, September 2nd, is Labor Day. In observance of the holiday, there will be only one Mass at 9 AM in the main church, and the parish office will be closed for the day.
This Friday, September 6th, is the First Friday of the month. Following the 8 AM Mass, the Most Blessed Sacrament will be exposed for adoration until the 12 Noon Mass. In the evening, join us for a sung Holy Hour of Adoration at 6:30 PM, followed by a Holy Mass at 7:30 PM, both in Spanish, held in the chapel.
If you are an adult who has not yet received the Sacraments of Baptism, Holy Communion, or Confirmation, we invite you to enroll in our special Adult Sacramental Preparation Program. Please contact Deacon Jacob Rodriguez at the parish office.
The Youth Group is hosting an exciting cash raffle with a $5,000 grand prize to support their pilgrimage to Rome next year. Raffle tickets are just $10 each. Ticket sales will resume next weekend.
Please be advised that due to ongoing misuse of the Holy Water fountain in the side vestibule of the church, we have temporarily removed it to prevent further issues. We kindly remind everyone that Holy Water is intended solely for blessing persons and objects and should not be consumed or poured on the ground, as such actions can be an abuse of this important sacramental of the Church. Moving forward, if you need Holy Water, please see our Sacristan after Mass or speak with a receptionist at the Rectory.
