Our Jornada Group is opening its doors! Teens and their parents are warmly invited to our Jornada Open House. Stop by any time after the 9:30 AM Mass through the end of the 12:30 PM Mass. Come meet our young people and their leaders, discover what Jornada is all about, and see how you can become part of this growing youth community.
And don’t forget your four-legged family members! On this Jubilee Feast of Saint Francis of Assisi, we will have a special Blessing of the Animals at 5:00 PM in Mary’s Garden. Bring your beloved pets and join us as we thank God for the joy, companionship, and beauty they bring into our lives. Dogs, cats, birds—and whatever other friends you can safely bring—are welcome.
And a special invitation to all the young people of our parish! Next Sunday, October 11 at 11:00 AM, all teens and their families are invited to a special Youth Mass celebrating an exciting new chapter for our Parish Youth Ministry. We will honor the newly canonized Saint Carlo Acutis, welcome him as the patron of our Youth Group, and have the great privilege of welcoming his First-Class Relic to our parish. Teens, come and help us begin this exciting new chapter as our young people take a more visible role in the life of our Church!
And here is something our children look forward to every year—our 5th Annual All Saints Costume Party! Save the date: Saturday, October 31st, from 2:00 to 4:30 PM in the Institute, followed by the 5:00 PM Mass. Children, start choosing your favorite saint and preparing your costumes! Come dressed as that saint, share the saint’s story, enjoy lunch, fun activities, and exciting prizes. Parents, you are invited to join the fun too!
Finally, a heartfelt thank you to the 133 parishioners who have already pledged more than $55,250 to this year’s Annual Catholic Appeal! We are deeply grateful for your generosity. If you have not yet participated, we invite you to join them. Every gift, large or small, helps our parish do its part in supporting the important ministries of our Diocese. Appeal envelopes are available at the church doors.
For more information about these and other parish events, please take home a bulletin or you may read it right here on our website.
We wish everyone a wonderful week, and may God bless you and your families!
