This past Saturday, the Hispanic community held a street procession and a Solemn Mass in honor of St. Diego de Acala, a missionary renowned for holiness and miraculous healing, it was followed by refreshments in the Institute.
The Altagracia Committee had a Food Sale at the Institute which included a raffle to fund the upcoming Feast of Our Lady of Altagracia celebration, Patroness of the Dominican Republic.
Our Youth Group collected quality canned food for Hour Children, a charity for incarcerated and formerly incarcerated women and their children. You can leave your food donation at the church door. We appreciate your support in this endeavor.
This Sunday, high school-aged young men and older were invited to learn about the priesthood at Project Andrew which took place in our church this month. The event included prayer, dinner, and discussions with Bishop Robert Brennan and Father Chris Bethge, Vocation Director. We encouraged interested youth to join and ask for prayers from the parish for vocations.
This Wednesday, November 22, a Solemn Mass in Spanish will be held at 7PM in honor of Saint Cecilia, Patroness of music and musicians, followed by refreshments and live Mariachi music in the Parish Institute. All are invited to attend.
For Thanksgiving Day, there will be only one Solemn Mass at 9AM in the main church on Thursday, and also only one Mass at 9AM on Friday. The church and parish office will close after the Rosary on both days, reopening Saturday morning.
We invite you to memorialize a Christmas wreath for only $35 each, honoring your loved ones. These wreaths will adorn our church exterior during the holiday season. Reserve through the bulletin form or the parish office. Availability is limited.
On December 9th, the Rosary Society’s 2nd Annual Christmas Fundraiser will be held in the Institute. Enjoy a lunch with choice wine for only $45 per person, including a chance to win in a raffle with exciting prizes. Reserve your tickets at the parish office.
