MAY 5, 2024

We are pleased to report continued growth in the number of parishioners contributing to the Annual Catholic Appeal. As of this week, 80 parishioners have pledged a total of $38,119, progressing towards our goal of $67,815. May the generosity of these faithful parishioners inspire all our families to support this important cause.

This week marks the beginning of the Month of May, a time dedicated to honoring Mary, the Mother of God. We encourage all families to engage in some form of devotion to the Blessed Mother, such as praying the Rosary together, offering flowers, lighting votive candles in church, or revering her images at home. These devotions serve as reminders for us to emulate Mary’s virtues in our own lives.

This Tuesday, May 7th, at 7:30 PM, Bishop Ray Chappetto will lead a Special Mass of Healing at St. Joseph’s Church, our neighboring parish, horning St. Peregrine, the Patron Saint of cancer patients. Everyone is welcome to join.

This Thursday, May 9th, marks the Ascension of the Lord, a Holy Day of Obligation. We will hold solemn Masses at 8AM and 12 noon, and a solemn bilingual Mass at 7:30PM, all in the main church.

Registration for our Religious Education Program is open until August 31st. Application forms are available in the parish office for both new and returning students. Register or re-register your child in May to receive a discount on the registration fees.

The Rosary Society is excited to invite you to their Summer Fundraiser Luncheon on Saturday, June 22nd. Please reserve your seat by contacting the parish office starting this week. Additionally, a 50/50 raffle will be available, with Rosarians selling tickets at the church doors. The potential prize for the raffle is approximately $2,500, depending on ticket sales.

For more details on our parish activities, please pick up a weekly bulletin on your way out or you may read it right here on our website.
