We are grateful to share that, to date, 98 parishioners have already pledged over $40,200 dollars to the Annual Catholic Appeal—a wonderful sign of the faith, love, and generosity of our parish community. If you have not yet participated, we kindly invite you to take an envelope at the church doors and prayerfully consider making a gift.
Registration for Religious Education is now open and will continue through September 10. All children are encouraged to enroll as they continue to grow in their faith and prepare to receive the Sacraments. Families who register during the month of May will receive a discounted tuition rate for both new and returning students.
Also, importantly, if you are 18 years of age or older and have not yet received the Sacraments of Baptism, Holy Communion, or Confirmation, a specialized catechetical program is available for you. Weekly sessions will help deepen your understanding of the Catholic faith and prepare you to receive these sacred milestones. On Sunday, starting at 10:30AM, our Guadalupe Committee will hold a Mexican Food Sale in the Institute to support the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Please support this meaningful initiative as a way to show your love to Our Blessed Mother.
The Jornada Youth Group & Sacred Heart Committee will be hosting an Outdoor Flea Market on July 18 and 19, in front of the church on Newtown Avenue. Interested vendors should speak with Luis Sanchez at the parish office for contracts. Please help us spread the word.
This Friday, June 5th, is First Friday. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament follows the 8:00 AM Mass until 12:00 PM, concluding with Benediction. And as usual, there will also be a sung Holy Hour at 6:30 PM, followed by Mass at 7:30 PM, both in Spanish.
