March 5, 2023

This weekend our parish begins the 2023 Annual Catholic Appeal, a diocesan fundraising campaign that supports churches, schools, ministries, programs and agencies that serve the educational, physical and spiritual needs of the people of our Diocese. We pray for a spirit of generosity among our parishioners and invite everyone to consider participating in this worthy cause as a concrete way to live out their Lenten spirituality.

On Saturday, March 18, all parishioners are invited to attend our Parish Lenten Retreat led by Father John Cush, Retreat Master and Guest Speaker. The Retreat will feature two separate tracks for adults and youth.  The theme for the adult retreat is: “The Quest for the Historical Jesus and Where to Find Him: In Sacred Scripture!”. The theme for the youth retreat is: “Finding Joy in Christ’s Passion”.  Please refer to the parish bulletin for a complete agenda of the Retreat Day.

On Saturday, March 25, the Vocations Committee is sponsoring a special visit to the Little Sisters of the Poor in Queens Village. We invite all young ladies, ages 12-17 to participate in this special excursion, which will feature a Holy Hour led by our pastor Msgr. Pham, and a tour of the Queen of Peace Residence where many young Sisters joyfully carry out their ministry to the elderly. Parents, please contact the parish office to obtain the permission slips for you to sign.

The Stations of the Cross devotion is held every Friday in Lent, in English after the 12PM Mass, and in Spanish at 7:00pm in the chapel. Booklets will be provided for all to use during the devotion.

For detailed information on these events and other parish information, please take home a copy of our weekly bulletin or read here on our website.
