MARCH 17, 2024

We are delighted to announce that, to date, 33 parishioners have generously pledged $17,789 to the Annual Catholic Appeal 2024, with $11,381 already collected! Our heartfelt gratitude extends to each of you for demonstrating your faith in this manner, which will positively impact our Church’s mission across Brooklyn and Queens.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day. As we honor the patron saint of Ireland who brought Christianity to that land, we also celebrate the cultural richness and spiritual legacy of our Irish brothers and sisters in our own land. May the fervent faith and evangelizing spirit of St. Patrick continue to inspire us today towards a greater enthusiasm for God.

This Tuesday, March 19, will be the Solemnity of St. Joseph. You are cordially invited to attend a special Mass at 10 AM in the chapel honoring St. Joseph, the patron of our Italian congregation. Following the Mass, the Bread of St. Joseph will be blessed and distributed to all participants, courtesy of our Italian community.

On Wednesday, March 20, please join us at 7 PM in the main church for an Evening of Lenten Reflection tailored for all Ministers, Catechists, Parish Leaders, and Volunteers. Father John Patrick Cush, a renowned professor of dogmatic theology at St. Joseph’s Seminary, will lead a reflection and discussion on the theme of “Radiating Christ Through Service.” The Evening will conclude with Solemn Adoration and Benediction.

During Lent, you are encouraged to dedicate a Palm Cross in memory or in honor of a loved one, living or deceased, to be displayed in our church garden during Holy Week and Easter Week. There are only a few Palm Crosses left. Each Cross is available for a donation of $35.

For more details on these and other parish activities, please pick up a weekly bulletin as you leave the church or read here on our website.
