MARCH 10, 2024

We’re thrilled to announce that, to date, 25 parishioners have generously pledged $12,569 to the Annual Catholic Appeal 2024, with $6,386 already collected! Our sincere gratitude extends to each of you for your spirited participation this year. Your contributions significantly aid the Church’s mission across Brooklyn and Queens.

Please mark your calendars for our Parish Lenten Retreat on Saturday, March 16. The day will include a morning session designed specifically for adults, followed by an afternoon session for our younger members. We are honored to welcome the Very Rev. Joseph Gibino, Vicar for Evangelization and Catechesis in our diocese, as our Retreat guide.

Additionally, remember to save the date for Tuesday, March 19, for the Solemnity of St. Joseph, the patron of our Italian congregation. Our Italian Community warmly invites all to a Solemn Mass at 10AM in the chapel in honor of Saint Joseph, with the Holy Bread of St. Joseph to be distributed following the Mass.

Join us on Wednesday, March 20, at 7PM for a Lenten Recollection Night tailored for Liturgical Ministers, Catechists, Parish Leaders, and Volunteers. Father John Patrick Cush, a renowned professor of dogmatic theology at St. Joseph’s Seminary, will lead a reflection and discussion on “Serving the Lord with Passion”. All are encouraged to attend and engage with our ministers.

Following last year’s successful initiative, our parish is delighted to offer a limited edition of Palm Crosses again this year. Dedicate a Palm Cross in memory or honor of your loved ones, to be displayed in our church garden during Holy Week and Easter Week. Each Cross is available for a donation of $35.

For more details on these and other parish activities, please take a weekly bulletin as you leave the church or you can read it here on our website.
