We’re delighted to share some wonderful news: 108 parishioners have pledged nearly $45,000 to this year’s Annual Catholic Appeal, with over $37,000 already received! Your generosity is already making a meaningful impact, supporting ministries that care for the most vulnerable in our diocese. If you haven’t yet made a gift, we warmly invite you to prayerfully consider joining this important mission. Appeal envelopes are available at the entrance of the church.

A reminder to all parents: enrollment is now open for our Parish Religious Education Program. This faith formation is essential to your child’s spiritual development and preparation for the Sacraments. Registration for both new and returning students is available through September 2nd at the parish office.

If you are an adult who has not yet received the Sacraments of Baptism, Holy Communion, or Confirmation, we invite you to enroll in a special Adult Program that will prepare you for these essential milestones of faith. Please contact Deacon Jacob Rodriguez in the parish office. Registration is open until the end of September.

Msgr. John Harrington, a retired priest who has been in residence at our rectory, will be moving to St. Rita’s rectory to assist the pastor there. He extends his heartfelt thanks to the priests and parishioners of Our Lady of Mount Carmel for their many kindnesses over the years. We look forward to welcoming him back for visits from time to time.

This coming Friday is unique: it is both the First Friday of the Month and Independence Day, July 4th—a federal holiday. Please note that there will be only one Mass at 9:00 AM, in our main church and there will be no exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. Following the Mass, both the church and the parish office will be closed for the remainder of the day.
