We are thrilled to announce that our parish will host a special Diocesan Youth Rally to celebrate World Youth Day this week in Lisbon, Portugal. Teens and young adults are warmly invited to join us next Saturday, August 5th, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM for a night of music, praise, witness talks, and fellowship. The event will start in the church and conclude with socializing and refreshments in the Institute. Please help spread the word to all young people you know.
We are also delighted to share that 163 of our parishioners have already participated in this year’s Annual Catholic Appeal. Your support means a lot to us, and we invite others to consider contributing to this vital cause, benefiting our local Church and parish. Donation envelopes are still available at the church doors.
The registration for our Religious Education Program, starting in September, is entering its final weeks. All children are required to participate to receive the Sacraments. Please register your child with Coordinator Nelly Gutierrez in our parish office as soon as possible.
If you’re 18 years or older and have not received the Sacraments of Baptism, Holy Communion, or Confirmation, we invite you to join a special preparation program. This program is designed for you to receive these important spiritual gifts. For more details, please contact Deacon Jacob Rodriguez at our parish office.
On Friday, August 4th, the First Friday of the month, there will be Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament after the 8 AM Mass for silent adoration until the 12 PM Noon Mass. In the evening, there will be a sung Holy Hour of Adoration at 6:30 PM, followed by a Holy Mass at 7:30 PM, both in Spanish.
Next Sunday, August 6th, we are hosting a Blood Drive by the New York Blood Center from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM in the Institute. Your blood donation will save multiple lives. Details can be found in the bulletin.
