Contributions to the Annual Catholic Appeal are steadily increasing, bringing us closer to our parish goal of $67,815. We encourage every family to consider supporting this vital cause, which supports the essential mission of the Church in Brooklyn and Queens. If you haven’t already done so, please pick up a contribution envelope available at the church entrances.
This Friday, August 2nd, marks the First Friday of the month. Following the 8AM Mass, the Most Blessed Sacrament will be exposed for adoration until the 12 Noon Mass. In the evening, join us for a sung Holy Hour of Adoration at 6:30 PM, followed by a Holy Mass at 7:30PM, both conducted in Spanish in the chapel.
Also on Friday, August 2nd, Catholic Charities will host a back-to-school Family & Kids Fun Day in our parking lot from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Please note that the parking lot therefore will not be available that morning.
Families are encouraged to enroll their children in our parish’s religious instruction program, which provides preparation for Sacraments and faith development. Registration is open for new and returning students for only five more weeks, until August 31st.
Registration for the Youth Group Jubilee Pilgrimage to Rome had already closed on June 30th, as we have been announcing about this pilgrimage for more than two months. Since this is a diocesan program under the direction of our Bishop, our parish Youth Ministry cannot accept any more registrations. We are grateful to those who have supported our youth in their fundraising efforts, particularly the ongoing cash raffle with a first prize of $5,000. Tickets are only $10 each.
For more information on this and other events, please refer to the bulletin or you can read it here on our website.
