On this Altar Servers Recognition Weekend, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to our Altar Servers and their families. We deeply appreciate the dedicated service of our Altar Servers and the support of their parents in this important ministry.
We are delighted to share the continued growth in contributions to the Annual Catholic Appeal. As of today, 135 parishioners have generously pledged a total of $53,619, moving us closer to our goal of $67,815. We invite every family to consider contributing to this vital cause for our Diocese. Contribution envelopes are available at the church entrances.
From Monday through Wednesday this week, our main church will undergo professional floor work and cleaning. During these days, the main church and the two vestibule areas will be closed. To allow workers to carry out their tasks, the church elevator will not be available. Parishioners who attend daily Mass are asked to enter and exit the lower chapel only through the front entrances on Newtown Ave. We ask for your patience as we complete this necessary maintenance for your benefit.
Next Saturday, July 27th, please join us for a solemn celebration honoring Saint James the Apostle, an important figure of devotion in our Hispanic community. The celebration will begin with a Street Procession at 5:15 p.m., followed by a Solemn Mass in Spanish at 6:15 p.m. After the Mass, you are all invited to the festival in the Institute.
Next summer, our Youth Group will go on a pilgrimage to Rome for the Youth Jubilee with Pope Francis, accompanied by Bishop Robert Brennan. The pilgrimage is open to all parish youth aged sixteen and above. We invite the whole community to support their fundraising activities. We thank all parishioners who supported the car wash event today/yesterday, whose proceeds will help our youth realize their dream.
For further announcements and events within our parish, please take home a weekly bulletin or you can read it here on our website.
