JULY 16, 2023

On Sunday, July 16th, we will be celebrating the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, the patronal feast of our parish in a solemn way in the afternoon. While the Mass schedule remains the same as every other Sunday, everyone is cordially invited to also join us for the Solemn Outdoor Procession honoring our Blessed Mother, which will begin at 3PM from Mary’s Garden, located between the Rectory Office and the School Building. WE INVITE EVERY MINISTRY GROUP IN OUR PARISH TO GATHER UNDER THEIR STANDARDS OR BANNERS AND MARCH TOGETHER. All parishioners are invited to come in their native dress to show the rich diversity of our parish. The Mariachi Youth Band will accompany the Procession with their music.

In case of rain and the procession cannot be held outdoors, we will gather in the church at 3PM for an alternative celebration of prayers and music, leading up to the Consecration of seventy parishioners to Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

Following the Procession, or alternative indoor celebration, please join us for the Solemn Mass presided by Cardinal-designate Christophe Pierre, Apostolic Nuncio and Personal Representative of Pope Francis to the United States. Joining him will be our Diocesan Bishop, Bishop Robert Brennan, and the other bishops of our Diocese. All participants will receive a Holy Scapular of Our Lady.

Afterward, please join us in the parish institute for a celebration featuring international music, dances, and delicious food. We are deeply grateful to all the leaders and members of our parish who are working hard together to prepare for this celebration. Your dedication is an inspiring sign of love and devotion to Our Lady.

For other announcements and events in our parish, please take home a weekly bulletin or read here on our website.

Happy Parish Feast Day to everyone!
