Great news! 115 parishioners have pledged over $51,000 to the Annual Catholic Appeal—$43,000+ already received! Your generosity is making a real impact across the Diocese. If you haven’t yet given, please consider doing so. Appeal envelopes are available at the church entrance.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone—especially our ministry leaders—for making our parish feast a beautiful success. Your dedication has strengthened our unity and filled our parish with grace. May Our Lady of Mount Carmel bless you abundantly!
This Wednesday, July 16, we celebrate the actual Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Masses will be in the main Church at 8AM and 12Noon. Bishop Raymond Chappetto, native son to our parish, will preside and preach at the Noon Mass.
Next Sunday, July 20, our parish youth will take part in the 2:00 p.m. Pilgrims’ Mass and Blessing at the Immaculate Conception Center in Douglaston, celebrated by Bishop Robert J. Brennan, D.D. All are warmly invited to attend—especially those who supported the Youth Group’s pilgrimage to Rome.
Also, next weekend, in response to the devastating floods in Texas, Bishop Brennan has asked all parishes to help. We’ll take up a special second collection to support the victims.
Parents: Don’t miss the chance to register your children for our Religious Education Program! It’s essential for their spiritual formation and sacramental preparation. Registration is open through September 2 at the parish office.
And remember—St. Joseph Catholic Academy offers excellent Catholic education for grades 3K through 8th right in our neighborhood! See the bulletin for more details.
