Registration for Religious Education is now open through September 10. All children preparing to receive the Sacraments must participate in religious instruction. Parents, we encourage you to give your children this priceless gift—the opportunity to grow in the knowledge and love of God, a gift that will guide them throughout their lives and bear fruit for eternity.
If you are 18 years of age or older and have not yet received the Sacraments of Baptism, Holy Communion, or Confirmation, a specialized catechetical program is available for you. Weekly sessions will deepen your understanding of the Catholic faith and prepare you to receive these Sacraments. Please contact Deacon Jacob Rodriguez at the parish office.
Bishop Robert Brennan has asked every parish in the Diocese to take up a special collection for the victims of the recent earthquakes in Venezuela. This collection will be taken up next weekend, July 18–19. We thank you in advance for your generosity as we support our brothers and sisters in need.
The Jornada and the Sacred Heart groups will host an Outdoor Flea Market next weekend in front of the church on Newtown Avenue, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday and 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Sunday. Browse a wide variety of jewelry, clothing, household items, delicious food, and exciting raffles. We hope you will come and support their ministries.
