We are deeply grateful to share that 185 parishioners and families contributed to this past year’s Annual Catholic Appeal, donating an impressive total of over $86,000. Thanks to your generosity, we have exceeded our parish goal once again, and everything above $67,815 will be returned by Bishop Brennan to assist with the current repairs of our beloved chapel. Thank you for your faithful stewardship of your God-given blessings.
The Altagracia Group is hosting a wonderful Dominican Food Sale to raise funds for the celebration of Our Lady of Altagracia, Protectress of the Dominican Republic. The sale will take place in the gym from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. You are also invited to support this celebration by purchasing raffle tickets for exciting prizes.
On Wednesday, January 21, all are invited to a special Diocesan Mass at 7:00 PM, celebrated by Bishop Robert Brennan, honoring Our Lady of Altagracia, at the Co-Cathedral of St. Joseph in Brooklyn. A coach bus will be at the front of our church at 5:15 PM and will depart promptly at 5:30 PM. The cost is $25 round trip, payable on the bus.
Next Sunday, January 25, our parish will host a Solemn Mass honoring Our Lady of Altagracia at 9:30 AM. After Mass, please join us for a special hot breakfast in the Institute, generously provided by the Altagracia Committee.
This Monday, January 19, in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, there will be only one Mass at 9:00 AM in the main church. After Mass, both the church and parish office will be closed for the day.
