There will be a Food Sale in the Institute right after the 12:30pm Spanish Mass, sponsored by the Via Crucis Committee in support of the public re-enactment of the Passion of the Lord on Good Friday in the streets of our neighborhood. The Food Sale will feature a fantastic menu of hot food, Latino delicacies and drinks. All are invited.
This Friday, March 3rd, is the First Friday of the month. There will be exposition of the Blessed Sacrament after the 8AM Mass for silent adoration until the 12PM Noon Mass. That same evening, there will be the Stations of the Cross at 6PM, a Holy Hour with meditation and music at 6:30PM, followed by a Holy Mass at 7:30PM, all in Spanish.
Every Friday throughout Lent, you are also invited to participate in the Stations of the Cross following the 12PM Mass in English. Booklets will be provided for all to use during the devotion.
Next Sunday, March 5th, our parish will begin the 2023 Annual Catholic Appeal, a diocesan fundraising campaign that supports churches, schools, ministries, programs and agencies that serve the educational, physical and spiritual needs of the people of our Diocese. We will pray for a spirit of generosity among our parishioners, and invite everyone to consider participating in this worthy cause as a concrete way to live out their Lenten spirituality. A brief video featuring our own parish, among others, will be shown at every Mass.
Also, next Sunday, March 5th, after the 9:30Am bilingual Mass, our parish Rosary Society will have their monthly meeting in the Institute for the Recitation of the Rosary and Refreshments. All ladies at least 15 years old are invited to come and please bring a friend.
For detailed information on these events and other parish information, please take home a copy of our weekly bulletin or read here on our website.
