Thank you for your kind contribution to the second collection today, which will assist the suffering people of Turkey and Syria in the aftermath of the deadly earthquakes that has claimed the lives of more than 41,000 people. Your gift, together with those collected in all churches of Brooklyn and Queens this weekend, will be sent immediately to the victims and their families.
The world-renowned Concert Choir of Prague from the Czech Republic will visit our parish and hold a Concert of Sacred Music immediately following the 10:30AM Czech Mass in the chapel. Admission is free, and all parishioners are welcome!
There will be a Food Sale in the Institute right after the 12:30pm Spanish Mass, sponsored by the Divine Mercy Committee to support the celebration of the upcoming Solemnity of the Divine Mercy in our parish. The event will feature a fantastic menu of hot food, Latino delicacies and drinks. All parishioners are invited to stop by.
February 20 is Presidents’ Day. In observance of this federal holiday, there will be ONLY ONE Mass at 9AM in the main church. Once the recitation of the Rosary after that Mass is over, the church and parish office will be closed and will reopen on Tuesday, February 21.
This coming Wednesday is Ash Wednesday and the start of the Lenten season. Ashes will be distributed at 8AM and 12PM Masses, both in English, as well as at the 7:30PM Bilingual Mass and the 9:00PM Vietnamese Mass. There will also be an English Service at 5:00PM. All Masses and Service will take place in the main church.
Starting Friday, February 24 and throughout Lent, you are invited to participate in the Stations of the Cross following the 12PM Mass every Friday. Booklets in English will be provided for all to use during the devotion.
