We extend our gratitude to the 46 parishioners who generously participated in last Sunday’s Blood Drive, sponsored by the New York Blood Center. Your contributions to this noble cause have the potential to save many lives!
This coming Tuesday, August 15th, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a holy day of obligation. In addition to our regular weekday Masses at 8AM and 12PM, there will be a bilingual Mass at 7:30PM in the main church.
This Tuesday also marks Father PJ’s 25th Anniversary of Priestly Ordination. He will commemorate this milestone at the 12 Noon Mass. Following the celebration, attendees are invited to a reception at the Institute, graciously hosted by the Rosary Society and the Legion of Mary.
As part of our ongoing support for Father PJ’s dedicated mission in Nigeria, our parish is organizing a second collection next weekend at Mass. This initiative aims to modernize the school he oversees, offering its students a chance at a brighter future. Your generosity will make a significant impact.
Our Religious Education Program registration, beginning in September, is in its final weeks. All children seeking to receive the Sacraments should be registered. Contact Coordinator Nelly Gutierrez in the parish office to enroll your child.
If you’re 18 or older and have not yet received the Sacraments of Baptism, Holy Communion, or Confirmation, a specialized catechesis program awaits you. Weekly sessions will deepen your understanding of our faith and prepare you for these spiritual milestones. Reach out to Deacon Jacob Rodriguez in the parish office for details.
