We are delighted to share that our pastor, Msgr. Pham, was awarded an honorary Doctorate in Sacred Theology from Holy Apostles College and Seminary. He also served as keynote speaker at the Seminary Gala and the College’s Commencement. This recognition reflects his years of faithful service to the Church and his untiring support of priestly and religious vocations. We are grateful for his leadership and ask God to continue to bless him. On this Good Shepherd Sunday, let us also show our appreciation for all our parish priests through our prayers and support.
Our Guadalupe Committee invites you to a Mexican Food Sale from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM in the Institute, supporting the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Come enjoy and support this joyful celebration of our Blessed Mother.
Join us for a special Holy Hour at 6:00 PM, with music by Astoria Praise and Worship and led by Father Jack Soler, known for his ministry to youth and young adults. All are welcome for this evening of prayer and inspiration.
This Friday, May 1st, is First Friday. Adoration follows the 8:00 AM Mass until 11:00 AM, concluding with Benediction. Please note that due to an early wedding, the 12:00 PM Mass this Friday will be celebrated at 11:00 AM instead. And as usual, there will also be a sung Holy Hour at 6:30 PM, followed by Mass at 7:30 PM, both in Spanish.
Registration for Religious Education begins this Friday and continues through September 10. All children must be enrolled to grow in their faith and prepare for the Sacraments. Register in May to receive a discount for both new and returning students.
Next Sunday, May 3rd at 3:00 PM, the Altagracia Committee invites you to a Spring Tea & Social in the Institute—an afternoon of tea, pastries, raffles, and music, honoring mothers ahead of Mother’s Day.
Save the date: Our pastor, Msgr. Pham, will celebrate his 25th anniversary of priesthood on Saturday, May 23rd with a 4:30 PM Mass of Thanksgiving, followed by a Gala Reception at Leonard’s Palazzo in Great Neck. This will be a joyful and significant celebration for our parish, and we are honored to welcome many Church and civic leaders, along with distinguished guests. All parishioners are warmly invited. Parish groups and ministries are welcome to reserve seats together at the Gala.
