“Our Lady of Mount Carmel Alumni Association is alive and well!  Although our major thrust is to provide scholarship funds for parish children who could not normally be able to reap the benefits of a Catholic education (as you did), we do have other activities in the offing.  We are hoping that through Facebook and others, class reunions will be planned.

In the Spring, we sent out an annual appeal to all those on our alumni lists, and a newsletter in July reporting on the Alumni feedback.  If you did not receive these, please let us know.  And if you would like to be part of the Alumni committee which is planning future events, we would be happy to have you join us – the more the merrier!

We would like to thank all of you who participated in our recent flea market. That and the parish collection at the Masses on the October 2nd weekend netted almost $3000 for our scholarship fund. We hope to make the flea market a semi-annual event, and are planning another one for the spring. In the meantime, we are starting to put together a parish cookbook.
